Tengah Plantation Grove, one of the inaugural BTO projects in Singapores first new town since Punggol, has reached 88% construction completion, with Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) expected in June 2026.
The project comprises 1,100 units across 8 residential blocks, offering 2-room Flexi, 3-room, 4-room, and 5-room flat types. It is one of the most anticipated projects in the Tengah township, being among the first to welcome residents.
Current construction status:
• All 8 blocks have achieved structural completion
• Facade installation is 95% complete
• Internal finishing works are ongoing across all blocks
• M&E (mechanical and electrical) systems installation at 90%
• Landscape and external works at 70%
Tengah Plantation Grove residents will enjoy several first-mover advantages in the new town:
• Proximity to Tengah Plantation MRT station (JRL), which will be operational by 2028
• Walking distance to the future Tengah Town Centre with its hawker centre, supermarket, and community facilities
• Access to the Plantation Farmway, a unique community farming corridor spanning 700 metres
• Direct connection to Tengahs car-free town centre via pedestrian and cycling paths
• Smart home provisions including smart sockets, data points, and integrated home automation readiness
Tengah is designed as a forest town with extensive greenery and eco-friendly features. The town centre will be car-free, with all vehicular traffic routed underground. Above ground, residents will enjoy pedestrian-friendly streets, cycling paths, and abundant green spaces.
For the 1,100 households eagerly awaiting their new homes, the 88% milestone confirms that Tengah Plantation Grove is on track for its promised TOP date. HDB will begin notifying successful applicants for key collection from June 2026 onwards.
